7.3 Ordering data. Acquisition documents must specify the following:

a. Title, number, and date of this CID.          

b. If required, the specific issue of individual documents referenced.

c. If design, materials, and manufacturing process other than specified (see 3.1).

d. Color if other than specified (see 3.2.1).

e. PIN of assembly to be furnished and quantity required (see 3.4 and 7.1).

f. Selection of applicable level and packaging requirements (see 6).

7.4 CARC. The primers and paints which resist chemical agents and meet military needs is Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) painting system index. They may be selected from Drawing Number 12369000 for internal and external applications for tactical military vehicles and components.
